Clarksons Port Services TRAINEE AGENCY OPERATOR CLARKSON PORT SERVICES LIMITED Seek a trainee Agency Operator to be based in our Ipswich office, working for the world's leading provider of shipping services, carrying out agency operations within a port environment The successful candidate will be involved in communicating with customers, vessels and port authorities and assisting in the preparation of cargo and vessel documentation In addition to a standard 40 hour working week, you will undertake work out of usual office hours as required, sharing this work on a rota basis. The role will also provide cover for other UK based offices as required. Preferred applicant requirements: Current, clean, driving licence Confident, self-starter with the ability to communicate well with a wide range of individuals Ability to produce and maintain accurate paperwork Ability to undertake regular out of hours attendances Experience of working within a positive health and safety culture The successful applicant will enjoy an excellent package and will have the opportunity of pursuing an exciting career with an established, successful, company.
