Job opportunities at OFTEC Technical Supervisor / Manager Full-time: 37% hours p/w Salary £28,000 234,000 DOE OFTEC's Technical Supervisor Manager oversees the support we provide to the liquid fuel heating industry and OFTEC's registered technicians. You will lead the day to day work of the department in; responding to enquiries; the production and maintenance of technical publications and standards; updates and bulletins; and delivering consultancy services. Good organisational skills will be just as important as an in depth knowledge of domestic oil heating, and hands-on experience would be an advantage. Some travel to external venues and meetings may be required. A flexible approach is a must. If you like variety, this could be the role for you Technical Officer Full-time: 372 hours p/w- Salary £24,000- £27,000 DOE You will primarily be dealing with general technical enquiries from OFTEC's registered technicians, consumers and other external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be a team player, with excellent communication skills, and should be able to interpret standards and relay information accurately to enquirers. You will also assist in the production and maintenance of technical publications, updates and bulletins; and delivery of consultancy services. Industry knowledge and experience is essential Some travel to external venues and meetings may be required IT Support Technician Full-time: 372 hours p/w - Salary £24,000 - £30,000 DOE You will be responsible for the maintenance and development of our technician database, which will involve the creation of specification changes and subsequent testing prior to release to end users (both internal and external). In addition you will provide day-to-day hardware software support and training to all system users and manage and control relationships with our external database, hardware and website providers in line with SLAs.
