The Royal Hospital School is a leading independent co-educational boarding and day school for 11-18 year olds, set in 200 acres of Suffolk countryside overlooking ROYAL HOSPITAL the River Stour. SCHOOL The Royal Hospital School has the following vacancies in the Operations Department SECURITY PORTER (PART TIME) Working under the direction of the Security Manager, the Security Porter is part of a four- person shift roster responsible for site security, delivery of mail and other porter duties, facilities support for exams, events and other school activities. CARPENTER Working under the direction of the Maintenance & Project Manager, the Carpenter will be required to work flexibly and carry out a variety of tasks to support planned and reactive maintenance. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience of using carpentry equipment and a proven ability to adapt to new techniques and technology. GROUNDSPERSON Working under the direction of the Grounds Manager, the Groundsperson will be required to work flexibly and in all weather conditions in order to maintain the School's extensive sports pitches, grounds, gardens and residences. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience of using grounds equipment and a proven ability to adapt to new techniques and technology. A positive attitude with the desire to develop new skills. All roles demand some weekend and evening work to support school activities.
