TW Gaze was established in 1857 by the eponymous Thomas William Gaze as a firm of agricultural valuers and auctioneers and has subsequently evolved to reflect changes in the rural way of life generally, and farming in particular. Therefore, gone are the livestock markets which were at the heart of the social and business life of the rural community for so long and instead there are chattels auctions which still provide a forum for mixing business with pleasure on market days, residential and commercial agencies and the old core of rural valuation, management, farm and land agency.
