The role requires interagency working and the ability to communicate well with other professionals and service users. The post requires an understanding of all the elements needed in setting up home, from safety planning, steps to becoming tenants and maintaining tenancy. Skills include support planning, applying for grants, professional engagement with people from many backgrounds as survivors of domestic abuse settle into new communities, report writing and support at multi agency meetings.
