About

We have been providing safe and supportive refuge in Ipswich since 1976. We also offer an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor Service, a range of community services and courses to support women and children to rebuild their lives after domestic abuse. Womens Centre: We run a women and childrens wellbeing centre in central Ipswich. This is a service for Suffolk and is open to all women and children. The centre provides a one-stop shop of advice and information for women and children (particularly those who are suffering or have suffered domestic abuse), whilst presenting an opportunity for all women and children across the county to develop new skills and come together within a safe and caring environment. We support all women, children and young people welcoming them to our centre and encouraging them to use our facilities to promote their independence and raise their confidence. Our staff are on hand to provide any support and information that may be required. Our services are free, confidential and non-judgemental. Refuge Services: We provide refuge accommodation to offer a safe, supported environment for women and their children requiring an emergency temporary home when they leave an abusive partner or family member.
